Problem in MySql

Question

Hello every one i have format my system and after that i have installed mysql in my system when i m connecting to mysql from my server then its not connected .but i putted the right HostName=192.168.1.3 this is my Server IP address . Do you have any idea how to solve my problem then please let me know . please its too urgent thanks in Advance........

Friend Are you Accecing MySQl that is installed in local Computer .and accessing it from same computer ?? if so then use 127.0.0.1 as IP and User Name =root and password =  this will resolve your problem if it solves your problem then check  Do you like this answer check box : ) if still having problem them let me know and also post code you are using to connect MySql :) and if you are using Simply ODBC Connection then dont use it use MySQL Connector instead Download My SQL Connector From Here after installation you will have new name space System.Data.MySQLClient then use it like SQL Server Programming .

Friend May be your Firewall is Blocking the connection check it too :)

hi sir this is given me Ping Error.. when i m ping of it then give me reply 1ms and 128kb and i m accesses mysql server from local machine to Server.means when i put IP address of my Server Machine than its not connecting but i put the IP address properly . i don't know what is happing with it please help me its too urgent sir......... thanks In Advance

check  mysql connector works properly... visit mysql website and download connector and install.. detailed tutorial r ter in th same web site..
