Problem with auto launch the application

Question

Hi Friends, I am going to create the setup of window application but i am facing one problem. How to launch the application after installation is complete? Thanks in advance.

Hi Bechir, Thanks for your reply post. I implemented auto launch the application as per your post. It will launch the application automatically after installation is over but before the clicking of "close" button of installation process. I want application launch will be after the close of installation process. Please share any idea how to achieve it. Earlier reply would be much appreciated. Thanks&Regards, Sreeram Murthy

I'm not sure but you can do this through adding custom action within a class installer for example. you can override the Installer_Committed(object sender, InstallEventArgs e) by adding this code Directory.SetCurrentDirectory(Path.GetDirectoryName(Assembly.GetExecutingAssembly().Location)); Process.Start(Path.GetDirectoryName(Assembly.GetExecutingAssembly().Location) + @" \projectName.exe" ); but I'm not sure because I didn't try it, so try it and send me back either if it works or not because I'm interesting to know the result too
