Problem:How could I show dialog before current window?

When I use form's ShowDialog()  sometime the dialog could be hidden by current window  how could I solve this problem  thanks very much ! _frmMessage.dShowMode = 1; //show confirm _frmMessage.Activate(); DialogResult dr = _frmMessage.ShowDialog(); _frmMessage.Visible = false;

Just change DialogResult dr = _frmMessage.ShowDialog(); to DialogResult dr = _frmMessage.ShowDialog(frmMessage.ActiveForm);  the dialog will show before any current form forever  thanks !

Who and what triggers the dialog to be hidden? ShowDialog() opens the form in modal mode meaning you can't access the calling (current) window. ShowDialog() is also a blocking call meaning you can't get past DialogResult dr = _frmMessage.ShowDialog(); unless _frmMessage is closed. Try considering using Show() instead.
