Problems with Displaying .NET Controls in Windows 2000

Question

Hi Please tell me why my .NEt control is not getting displyed in the IE page on Windows Server 2000 where as it is successfully getting displayed in the IE page on Windows 2003. Secondly its not calling the .NET Framework. What could be the possibel reason(s)? Please answer urgently. Regards Sandeela Sumeem

Hi There can be 2 problems 1) The major reason is that your .net framework is corrupt or not installed. Please re install it. 2) Some times high security for your IE doesn't allow controls to run and display. Faisal :)

maybe ASP.NET is not installed correctly? run in Command Prompt aspnet_regiis -i (NOTE: this utility is not on your PATH by default if you have VS.NET use Visual Studio Command prompt or navigate manually to directory where you have .NET sdk installed)
