procedure parameter length

hi this is kavita I am create a procedure with one input parameter bydefaut parameter lemth is maximum 128 character in sql2000. is there any way to increase parameter lenth? thanks

Hi As per your requirement i tryed to check with SQL Server 2000 it gives message the identify that start with variable name is too long. Maximum length is 128. Hence you cannot have a stored procedure variable with more than 128 character length and it is not good practive to keep variable with such long length avoid doing this. Regards >>Munnamax
