Progress bar on filling dataset.. C# winforms

Question

hi,
I am filling a dataset like (dataset.tableadapter.fill()) it is taking much time .... i need to show and fill a progress bar on a separat thread while adapter is filling and done once completed..

any help from MARS.. :)

would be encouriging.....

Hi, I had used ProgressBar, While Loading Data into the Datatable.But i doesn't have Experience in showing ProgressBar for DataAdapter.fill(). But i suggest a Link and Code Snippets, Hope It will Help You. Fill the dataset in a separate thread and meanwhile in the interface thread run a loop that would check the target table row count and update the progress bar correspondingly. Use either event OnRowUpdating or OnRowUpdated to fill your progress bar and PerformStep. Please do not forget to mark "Accepted Answer".
