Hello Kavita, Manoj Bisht this side. I know u don't me but you replied to my prob. for uploading the project. But at that time i was working on ASP.NET1.1 and also done 2-3 projects. But now i've switched on 2.0. Now when i'm uploading my project on my Server it's throwing "Runtime Error". Can u tell me y it's throwing this error. It's a trial project. And it does not contain any database................................................. But also the pics have been uploaded and visible on my server as well............. Plz have a bit of time to solve my this prob................

Hi, For uploading in ASP.Net 1.1, Just upload ur bin folder, image folder and .aspx.regx html design page, no .aspx.cs file required.

Hello ....., I think publish the site is not available or possible in ASP.NET1.1 through the Right Click on the project in Solution Explorer. Actually i'm using ASP.NET1.1 so now plz tell me how i can do it .......

yes but after publishing not diect webform from application I hope u know how to publish website? if not then in ur solution explore right click on project name and choose publish website.u can see that after publish ur folder(where u have publish site) donn't contain code file.

Hello ......, Thnx ........ u mean i must only upload folders like bin and other images folders, web config and Web Forms(.aspx only) right Mam

hi Manoj you don't need to upload your whole project when u publish your site that folder only contain nessasry file no coding file it contain.u just upload your webform,bin folder,web.config and any other folder(if u have like image or other) as it is in published folder just change database connection in web.config. bye.

Hello ....... Thnx for suggesting me the way for uploading the project on the server......... But still i've to ask a question .Should i upload my complete project on the server i mean each and evey folders and pages as well.......... Actually i'm using my Filezilla for uploading my project ........ OR and also let me know which files or folders i should upload on the server

hi to upload your site on server: first publish ur site then open core-ftp it ask ur user name and password enter them. then u see a window divided into two part. in right part double click httpdocs that is your root in left side select ur publish site folder then simply select ur form bin any other folder one by one and click go. after that u can see ur left side folder on right side it means they are uploaded. Remember to change ur connection string userid and password of database in web.config before upload. hope it work fine. bye.
