Is Protected Access modifier Possible with verchual Method in therm of Run Time Polymorphism? Sir Please Help me If it is passable then how plz explain. Thanks With Regard Ajay Kumar verma

As the following example program illustrates it is possible for a virtual method to carry the protected access modifier. Note that any overrides of such a method in derived classes must also be protected - you can't change the access modifier to public: using System; class Parent { protected virtual void Method() { Console.WriteLine(Parent's Method called); } } class Child : Parent { protected override void Method() { Console.WriteLine(Child's Method called); base.Method(); // now call Parent's version } public Child() { this.Method(); } } class Program { static void Main() { new Child(); Console.ReadKey(); } } The output is: Child's Method called Parent's Method called
