hi, query string is used maintain the state of application.for example we have two pages i need to transfer values from one page to another page then useful to use query string. In the firstpage: Query string code: Respone.redircet("secondpage.aspx?user='Textbox.text'"); it will redirect to scecondpage.aspx and in the second page url u will get value what send u get in query string.u can send more than one value. now for accessing the value uses the following code: Request.Querystring["user"].tostring(); if any queries revert back to me.

Hi Rajkamal, Query string is used to Pass the values or information form one page to another page. Syntax Request.QueryString(variable)[(index)|.Count] Parameters variable :- Specifies the name of the variable in the http query string to retrieve. index :- An optional parameter that enables you to retrieve one of multiple values for variable. It can be any integer value in the range 1 to Request.QueryString(variable).Count. hi, A query string is information that is appended to the end of a page URL.
