Query two database using a single sql statement

I need to query two database using a single sql statement. May I know how to connect to 2 database at the same time using the same connection string ? Or is there any suggestion ? Pls advise

create a view which references database2 eg : create view vTable2 as select * from Server2.dbo.TableName. Then run this query : select * from dbo.Table1 inner join vTable2 on Table1.[key] = vTable2.[key] (replace server2 with your server name and table1 and table2 with your table names).
