Hi When you create the ASP.Net web application it will ask you to select the language in the dropdown. By default it will be VisualBasic. The Dropdown has the option of Visual Basic and C#. The Visual Studio 2008 onwards its supports J# as well. It is applicable same when you create the project or web page. The compiler will identify the language from the page directive. The Language has the two properties in the page directive.
