I WANT TO RAISE a event as soon as user click on Gridview row in asp.net How to achieve this

You can not raise a event on GridView Row directly but you can raise a event on child control in GridView and its called Bubble Event.

The trouble is that there's no standard event for just clicking on the rows themselves or if there is I can't see it. You might be able to use javascript to add an 'onClick' event to each row of the GridView as it's created. However before resorting to that I'd wait for further answers to see if anyone else has a better idea.

But it will be raised when i clicked button in gridview and not row so i think it will not work for me
