RDL-Report file - Date format need to change

Hi friends,

 I have a report with fromdate,todate,userid as parameters. But when i run my report it shows the following error.


And also,when i select date from calender it shows as '25-May-14'.But actually i want it as '05/25/2014'. I tried this one  =FORMAT(Parameters!FromDate.Value,"dd/MM/yyyy")

But it doesn't works. Can anybody help me to solve this
