read data from notepad

Question

I have a combo box list box and two buttons(Add Display). The need is getting data from notepad to combo box. When select item from the combo box and click the Add button it need to be saved and display the text when click the Display button. don't display the text when click the Add button.

It's much easier if you just want to read the data from a text file. I got one more doubt. I have a text box along with combo box. when form loads data retrieve from notepad(I have the logic for this one which you gave above). then I enter a value in text box and select a item in combo box and click add button they just need save but not show in the list box. after when I click display button they need to be display along with the value in list box.

Thank you for giving a reply. actually I have a data.txt file in my folder and it contain some data jewellery watch picture ornament Electrical. I need to retrieve those data into combo box. can you explain about this?
