How to make stored procedure as 'Readonly' in SQL Server 2005.

Hi Vijay even if you create a SP using .Net finally it has to go and sit in SQL Sever database and i dont think there is a concept of read-only stored procedure. One way we can use this term as a stored proecedure which doens't have any DML operations. it has only SELECT operations to return data. so in this way one can interpret as ready only stored procedure. it u create a procedure through dot net its by default read only

hi whts that READONLY?????? if u want to restrict u'r user to change u'r stored Proc then u can use DataBase Trigger... and rollback any changes made to u'r sp's.
