Reading High Resolution Time

Question

Are there any alternatives to read time to the nearest microsecond accuracy in a program that implements threads? I tried QueryPerformanceCounter already but didnot get lucky.

Yeah but it has a 55 ms resolution. In other words if you try to read time in ticks in 1ms intervals you will keep reading same ticks value.

Try using DateTime.Ticks if give you time in Tick increments. Each tick is 100 nano seconds which I believe is .1 microsecond.
