Readonly VS Property

Hi What is the diffrence between read only and property of members.i little confused because both giving readonly value.So please make me clear in this project.

I think she means what's the difference between a readonly field and a readonly property e.g: class MyClass { public readonly int MyInt = 3; private int myOtherInt = 4; public int MyOtherInt { get { return myOtherInt; } } } As Suthish said a readonly property contains just a 'get'. It usually exposes a private backing field (as in the example) but it needn't do. It can also carry out some processing before returning a value. In contrast a readonly field exposes its value directly. It can only be assigned to where it's declared (as in the example) or from an instance constructor. Readonly fields are often static when they are used to represent values which don't change but which cannot be represented by constants because the values cannot be ascertained until runtime.

Read only property will contains only get attribute you can't write/set a value to it. Am not clear with your thread be specific what you are asking about.
