Real Time Web Application

Question

Hi friends i am new to ASP .net Web Development. I am planning to develop a web application which will display the real time ( string of data updated every 1
sec). The server will have input of the data . Web server will read this data and display it in browsers in every sec update rate. how may it be possible plz suggest any solution. I have worked on database web application but not have any idea about real time application in ASP .net

Hi Abhineet below is the code of my actual problem that i was trying to explain. I have written the code as told by u. In the label2 i want to display the realtime data that will come through the multicast socket as i have mentioned. The only problem i see is the socket creation part ie the code block belo // socket creation operation is also refreshed which creates problem because multiple instance of sockets are created and i get the error How should i arrange the code so that only // data receive and display block will get refreshed.
