Question

i am developing desktop app for record inventry. i want if on one time use i enter 10 records and i close app next time records no start from 11 not again from 1 what i can do or what concept is used for it

If you're using a relational database to store the records then I'd use an 'auto-increment' field for the record number. If you're not familiar with these I'd check this link first: http://www.w3schools.com/sql/sql_autoincrement.asp
