Recording Audio From a Microphone Using C#

I am working on a project where I need to record audio from a microphone. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this other than DirectSound?

Hi You can look at Media Control Interface (MCI). Check in MSDN. It is supported in most of the windows platform. Cheers.

Ohh..sorry I used TAPI to record from the modem..not from the microphone..i was trying to pick up a phone call after a prespecified number of rings and to play a greeting msg and acquire the conversation... I'm sorry for misunderstanding u Good luck

Hi I think there is no way but using the TAPI...Microsoft Telephony APIs ... I used it before but within a C++ project Good luck
