Reduce Crystal Report initial time for huge records

Question

Hello ,

I have to show thousands of record in some crystal Reports in Windows Application in C#.NET.
It takes lots of time to display.
also Query is optimized & only takes 8-10 sec but report takes 40-50 minutes to display.

even if i load crystal report or run other small report & after that run big report , it takes too much time.

can any one suggest any option to decrease initial time ??
i have tried to load in starting of application but still it take time.

Also temp files becomes too huge like 4-5gb . does it affect anyway ??
