Refresh object

Question

Please i would like to know wat exactly object.refresh() does.i have a line of code which requires my button to go disable once clicked and process data however if d process returns a wrong value it is to enable the button again for reuse but i see that when i click d button again it doesnt process d data even after callin refresh.so please can someone put me thru

Hi I don't think object.refresh() would do any good in your current problem. Could you post some code? What happens during debug upon clicking the 2nd button for the second time? Based on your description I assume your code looks something like this one: private void button1_Click( object sender EventArgs e) { button1.Enabled = false ; if (Process() == false ) { button1.Enabled = true ; } }

After clicking on the button if you made that disable it will not process. For this you have to use the JavaScript to disable the button and again explicitly call the submit or dopostback from the JavaScript to do the process.
