Refresh Table Id and again start with 123 upto n ?

Question

Sir Actually i want to know how to refresh table id column after 1 year automatically. Means suppose my table id column start with 12 upto n in year (2013) but when year(2014) start i want this column again start with 12..like this ? the id column don't have primary key. So please tell me the solution for that...?

Hi Ajit You can do it with a simple logic but for that you must have any column having Date or Year information so that you can check. Just check if id with value 1 exist where year = current _year. If it exists then the counting has started already- follow the trail otherwise you start the count with 1. Isn't that simple. ping back for any clarification. HTH :)
