Refresh VS 2010 rdlc files (report viewer)

Question

Hi  Im trying to find how refresh the rdlc file in 2010. I change the name of field to a different value or name that the rdlc file is using. When I go back to the rdlc file to see the name that I just change in the dataset the value does not update or change corresponding to the value i changed in the dataset. In 2008 its simple all you would have to do is change or add a new field and hit save the  the rdlc will update automatically. can someone assist me

The data most changed in Report Data. Edit you're report press ALT-CRL-D. Refresh the data there and it works. Good luck

I think you don't have an aspx page. Probably everything else applies to your situation but in case it matters double-check your project; if it is the project I think it is then there is no asp in it.

Okay I found a way to do it but i also want to try your way  your way might be easier. if you dont mind me asking can send me a jpeg of how to get the task pane and then also how to remove datasource from aspx page

Try these following ways. 1. Open the ReportViewer Tasks pane and click Rebind Data Sources . 2. Remove DataSource from your ASPX page then select your report to auto-generate the data source again and see if it works. Notice that an ObjectDataSource control appears immediately below the ReportViewer control and is automatically set to retrieve the contents of the business object you created.
