Question

Hi I have Published web site (Only design page is viewable)so i need to edit .cs page . please send me steps how to convert design page (.aspx) to code page (.cs) page . Steps to publish web site -->build --> Publish website I need to reconvert to original website . Thanks in advance.

It depends on how the application was compiled. If the original developer didn't obfusicate the build you should be able to decompile it using one of many .net decompiler. Try using Reflector to decompile the DLL's. http://www.red-gate.com/products/dotnet-development/reflector/

When you publish your code only the aspx page remains code part gets compiled into dll in a web application. You should have your original source code make changes to it publish again on IIS. Why do you want to make changes in the published code anyways?

you will not be convert ityou need to change project type Their are two templates while creating Web Application If you have used Create New Project Template then you will not be edit any code after publish. If you have used Create new Web site Template then you will be edit design as wel as .cs file after publish
