Regarding Forms Authentication

Question

I create a blank aplication (means just one blank page and no code,even
a single line) Then go to web administration tool and create 2 or 3 user.
I dont understand where these users are stored.I do not configure membership database.

Can I use all login Controls with my custom database?

Okay let me clarify the things from you. Assumption 1 I assume you have created the database in SQL Server using aspnet_regsql tool. Then the users will be stored in aspnet_users table(forgot the tablename but it should like users or aspnet_users). Go to the database and fire the sql statement for that table you will find all the created users. Assumption 2 If you database is in App_Data folder then go the the database and do the above thing(execute sql query for the table). All information gets stored in the database if you select ASPNetSqlProvider in Website Administration Tool. But that is extendable you can configure this with Oracle database Active Directory or even simple XML file.(example of Provider Design Pattern)

No first you have to use the membership database using aspnet_regsql tool. Then open Website Administration Tool and configure the provider information. Then create user and it would be stored in database. Generally if you do not create database then it will create a default database named aspnetdb in App_Data folder of the web application's root directory and store the information. In your case that might be the case.
