I have 2 user control.main user control have a submit button and displaying another usercontrol with 2 textbox. after entry data in textbox  while click on submit button in main user control i want textbox value and fileld name ..please provide a sample code... Thanks..

You should say that in your original post that you are on windows forms development. Anway I think you could make use of properties to access the values from user control just like in example #2

To clarify your second user control resides within your main control right? If so then you can easily access the child control values like this: TextBox tb1 = (TextBox)YourUserControlID.FindControl(TextBox1); TextBox tb2 = (TextBox)YourUserControlID.FindControl(TextBox2); string value1 = tb1.Text; string value2 = tb.Text; Another way is to define some properties in your UserControl that would store the values from your TextBox like: public partial class WebUserControl1 : System.Web.UI.UserControl { public string TextBox1Value{ get { return TextBox1.Text; } set { TextBox1.Text = value; } } public string TextBox2Value{ get { return TextBox2.Text; } set { TextBox2.Text = value; } } protected void Page_Load(object sender EventArgs e){ } } then at Button click even you can grab the values like this: protected void Button1_Click(object sender EventArgs e){ string value1 = WebUserControl1.TextBox1Value; string value2 = WebUserControl1.TextBox2Value; }
