regarding windows service

i want to create a windows servicein the config file define thr list of ports.if a request is comes for any port defined in the config file then i want to record the request time.can any one tell how should do this?

you can write a function which checks for the port numbers in the config file in your service installer and then get the function to fire events when you find it. this can be kept in a thread to make it run as windows service. Thanks Lisa
