Region area value in c#

Question

Can anyone please help.
im trying to find the area value of an inregular region (shape) in a bitmap image.
the lines of the region are curvy so the region is not a circle, it can be of any shape.
Please, please help.

hi well i have a bitmap image of a skin cancer which im trying to get the edges of the lesion from and after that i need to get the size (area) of lesion. I also need to get the diameter of the lesion and somehow identify if the shape of the lesion is inregular of not (more like a circle or rugged). Please help. Thanks
