Regular Expression validator

Question

Hi I need to have validation control for my password like [1] mixed case and numbers or [2] mixed case and punctuation or [3] mixed case numbers and punctuation. How to do that. Any one can help me with code.

I always try to avoid regular expressions and regular expression validators. There are very few people that are good with regular expressions. Even if you get the code right the next programmer may not be able to maintain it. So I use custom validators instead and code to do the validation. You can write your own Javascript code or you can do server side validation code.
