which is more preferable? Either oracle or SQL???

In my view the database to use depends on the front end(Language) you are using for developing your application or website. If you are using dotNET languages then SQL Server will be more compatible than other databases. For Java based applications Oracle would be the best and for PHP based applications MySQL will be the best.

sql runs in background and in oracl there is interface also
