Remoting between 2 exes

Question

Hello does anyone know if it is possible to have 1 exe program execute a method in a 2nd exe program through .net remoting? Or is the remotable object strickly a non-executable object? thanks in advance. mike

Yes it is possible as long as the method is a non static public method. The System.Runtime.Remoting namespace offers classes for .net remoting. Hope this helps!! Ramon MCP

You can do the following... Process myProcess= new Process(); string filepath= @C:\program.exe; myProcess.StartInfo.FileName = filepath; myProcess.StartInfo.WindowStyle = ProcessWindowStyle.Minimized; myProcess.StartInfo.Arguments = 2; myProcess.Start(); myProcess.WaitForExit(); Hope this helps!!!
