Remove System Account access to sharepoint Site collection

Question

Hi, Actually we have some confidential data in site collection and we don't want to allow any user to access it. For that I have added one user as a site collection administrator and removed all users. Except that user there is no other users are having any permissions to this site collection. And i didn't see any permissions for Farm administrator for this site collection. But i can log into the site with Farm administrator as a 'System Account'. Here i want to know how can we remove access for Farm administrator to the site due to some confidential data. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Regards Saya

Thanks Prasham for your reply. To remove user access for site collection i have done the below changes, Still i am able to log in to the site collection with that user. 1) Removed from Farm administrator gruop 2) Removed from Site collections group 3) Application pool identity also changed with some other user 4) Removed complete access from Site Permissions page And when i search permissions in site permissions page with "check permissions" tab i can see all permissions which is attached here. To inform you that with this account we have done the sharepoint installation and configuration. Appreciate your kind reply.

Hi, Basically system account is app pool account. I would say change your app pool account.
