replace in file.

Question

Hello I have a problem. I have files thats contains this character ->  And I need it to replace with nothing. How can I do it ? Here is my code I replace ; with | http://paste.php.lv/c6fd121c071baf4d11a8aff366df7ccc?lang=php

To replace the double quote characters with nothing (not even an empty space) you can use: content = Regex.Replace(content \ ); However for simple stuff such as this it's better to use string.Replace() which is faster: content = content.Replace(\ ); Notice that you have to 'escape' the double quote character by preceding it with a backslash otherwise the compiler thinks that the double quote represents the end of the string. You can also use the 'verbatim' string @ where you still have to escape the double quote but this time by doubling it rather than using a backslash.
