hai Shrikant S u said that Call .rdlc report okay..but what will be in rdlc ..i mean to say...in which way u design or how u will show the gridview in report...

Hi  DataBinding to Grid View Control u can do like this :- Option1  Option2 As per your requirement add one TemplateColumn in gridview control :- Columns > asp : TemplateField HeaderText =ViewReport> ItemTemplate > asp : LinkButton ID =lnkbtnSubmit runat =server CommandArgument =' ' CommandName =Submit Text =Report > asp : LinkButton > ItemTemplate > EditItemTemplate > EditItemTemplate > asp : TemplateField > Columns > Now From RowCommand Event of GridView You can call the report protected void GridView1_RowCommand( object sender GridViewCommandEventArgs e) { if (e.CommandName.Equals( Submit )) { int id = Convert .ToInt32(e.CommandArgument.ToString()); // you will get Clicked student id // Retrive details of student from studentinfo table using above id // pass above details as parameter and Set the parameters to your report which u need to display it .. hai sir Suthish Nair my problem is... if had a 2 tables like schoolinfo table studentid studentname studentaddress studentreport studentinfo table studentname studentmarks student-attendance now i wanna show the schoolinfo table in a gridview..then after when i click on studentreport the next studentinfo table should be shown in a reporting services so that i can take a printout or pdf or excel... i am trying for it ..i am new to these reporting services plz slove my problem sir if possible say in step by step method sir so that i can easly understand thanQ sir
