i had a 2 tables
school info table
student info table

showing school info table in a gridview..when we select student name it has to show the details of that student from student info table and that details shld be ..in reporting services

You need to create two reports. One main report and one sub report. The main report will display all schools. When a school is selected the Sub report will take an ID of the School and will display all students for that ID. Your database tables need a relationship and when you get data from the database you get both tables with the relationship. Your first report will be bound to and display data from the School table and second report will be bound to and display data from the Student table. Search this site for sub reports. Samples are using the Report Viewer but the concept is same. Good luck!
