hai.. i created some input check boxes using response.write(); eg:Response.Write( +db.myReader[1].ToString()+ ); myreader is my datareader values from databse..that doesnt a matter.... help me to get onclick serevr side coding.... how can we add function to this..(on click)

kirtan..can u help me to get a dropdownlist with check boxes... Now am using div and input type check boxes for this...i post question in this forum later and didnt get my requirement..can u help me.. exact dropdown with check boxes...and selected index change must possible thre... m in ???????? pls....and m in 1.1 framework and VS 2003

Hi  bye looking at your requirement if you dont whant to use CheckListBox you can also Use Standard Asp.net checkBoxes instead of using That cumbersome process of using Simple HTML controls and it can not be used to Raise Events Thats Why Microsoft has Introduce ServerSide Controls in asp.net . and by any way you are successfull to raise event in HTML Check box it will be by Using javaScript and it will be much more complex than simply using Standard Asp.net Check boxes That can easily Raise Event and Do postback . you Understand what i m telling you :) Happy Coding :)

hi...m glad.. i have to create some checkboxes with data from my databse..ie. why im using this..(there is away using check box list..but m not inetrested).. so i cretaed input type check boxes with run at server... then i need click event(server side) for these check boxes..then i can write function in c#.. help me? my probs is it is list of somtimes may be country then on selecting one country other list will show states in that country..in the similar manner.. click event server side means smthng like private void Chkbras_CheckedChanged( object sender System.EventArgs e) { } chkbras is a checkbox
