Restrict a user to open new tab and windows

hi all i am developing a web application for online examination and i don't want to allow the user to open a new tab and window while taking test. Is there any way to accomplish the task. any help would be appreciable.

Hi Amit i had gone through above one but the problem is that GetWindowName is not getting recognized in asp .net i just copied the exact code but i am getting error that GetWindowName doesn't exist in current context.

Lekhya this is not my requirement. please read requirement carefully. in online examination no new tab should be open. user can't open any other tab while taking test.

if You are using anchor tag you can use target= _self to open the page in the same window
