Your grid has a datatable from dataset I think. So: int cnt=((DataSet)myGrid.DataSource).Tables[myGrid.DataMember].Rows.Count; ArrayList myArray=new ArrayList(cnt); for(int i=0;i<cnt;i++) myArray.Add(myGrid[imy_column_number]); or something like this especially if You have some rows sorted or filtered in datagrid.
