retriving individual data using link button from grid view in C# lang

hi frnds please help me in retriving selected data from grid view using link buttons. i want to place a link button/hyperlink in grid view . when user click's on it  it has to retreve its corresponding individual data . so this has to done for rest of the employees. below is the ex: when we click on clickhere for chiru then it has to display its corresponding data. emp no name experience details 1 chiru 4 click here 2 venu 5 click here 3 naveen 3 click here 4 satish 5 click here 5 madhu 3 click here

Try the below one Add the below in ur gridview ... and in the code behind protected void Edit(object sender System.EventArgs e) { LinkButton lnkEdit = (LinkButton)sender; int rowIndex = ((GridViewRow)(lnkEdit.Parent.Parent)).RowIndex; using this index value then take the gridview items }
