It is nothing like 4.5 EntityFramework version. After 4.3 it is 5.0 please follow below link: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj574253(v=vs.113).aspx To install particular version of EntityFramework use below command in Tools >> Nuget Package Manager Console >> Install-Package EntityFramework -Version 5.0.0
