scientific calculator using C#

Question

How can we use two mathematical function on a single button like we have it on real scientific calculator using shift button we can use tan and inverse on a single button so how to get shift operation ?

That shift is just a condition to use either one value for that button or use another one. Like this if(shiftPressed) { useShiftedValue(); } else { useDefaultValue(); } This way you will be able to get the same functionality. The main thing is that you need to keep this variable active and you are going to test the value for every button that provides the functionality to shift the operators.

Hi It is sufficient to declare a global variable that indicates if the reverse mode has been selected. Call this variable flag: bool flag=false; When you press the shift button flag=true; When you press on tan button there are two cases if (flag) ... else ... and after the calculation: flag=false;
