SDE - C++/ C# Automation Developer - Redmond, WA - 156819C#C

Volt Technical Resources has an approximately one-year contract position open at the large Redmond-based Software Development Company for someone to help them develop new midsized server products in C++ and C#. They also need someone to attend test meetings, gather requirements and specs, set up multi-machine automation in C# and create automated test scripts. The ideal candidate will be someone who came from a C++ development background and has decided to start the move to C#. It would be great if the candidate has experience developing test automation and working with/designing test scenarios, and has been involved with the full test cycle. This person must also welcome challenges and have a passion to learn!

Requirements:

Position Requirements for this SDE - C++/ C# Automation Developer:

  • This group would like to have candidates with about 3 years experience with C++ and about a 1 year of experience with C#, though they will look at any combination of the two. They are really looking for someone who will be able to lay down clean code.
  • You need a good test aptitude and have at least unit-tested your own applications.

Plus:

  • Experience with writing test cases/plans and creating test automation for unit and functional testing is almost a requirement for this team.
  • Experience with Windows Servers, Exchange, AD and SQL Servers is a big plus.
