Search Criteria for a folder using FileSystemObject

Hello All Using VBScript i want to generate a list of files from a folder.The files in the folder are: Test_Filename.c Filename1.c Filename1.h Filename2.c Filename2.h Filename1.ctr Filename2.obs Filename3.project Need to skip all the files with extension .c.h but except the filename containing Test_ Output: Test_Filename.c Filename1.ctr Filename2.obs Filename3.project Kindly help me in this regard with regular expression if possible Thanks & Regards Sampath

Regular expressions in VBScript don't support 'negative look behind' so we therefore need some help from string functions if files beginning with Test_ are not to be skipped. However I think this script should work: Set objFSO = CreateObject(Scripting.FileSystemObject) objFolderPath = c:\whatever Set objFolder = objFSO.GetFolder(objFolderPath) Set colFiles = objFolder.Files Set reg = New RegExp reg.Pattern = \.(h|c)$ reg.IgnoreCase = True For Each objFile in colFiles isMatch = reg.Test(objFile.Name) If Not isMatch Or (isMatch And Lcase(Left(objFile.Name 5)) = test_) Then Wscript.Echo objFile.Name End If Next
