Search for a word in a File

Question

Hi I have 2 files[word document] which contains many datas. Let it be a.doc and b.doc. I have to search for a word in a.doc up to first space and check it if exists that word in b.doc. Pls help me out..

You can look into System.IO.Packaging and VSTO(Visual Studio Tools For Office). Reading a .doc file or a .docx file is not as simple as reading a normal file. A .doc file is basically a .zip file that contains xml files. Here's a tutorial to help get you started.
