Search from a large quantity

Question

If it is to search from a small quantity (say 10) we can use array in C# language. If it is to search from a large quantity (say 1000) what is the way, is there any data base which can link to C# language.

Well C# can connect to any number of databases including SQL Server Oracle and MS Access. Alternatively you can use XML or CSV files to store your data. However 1000 records isn't a particularly large quantity nowadays and there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to manipulate them in memory using an array or generic List.
