search functionality in windows application?

hi i m making a window application in C# .net. can anyone tell me how can i use search engine in window application?

I have a form which has a textbox where we can enter any string that we want to serach....And I have other 50 forms which perform different - different functions.... Nowon search button click I want the system to search that string which I have entered in textbox( on search form) by the text property of those 50 forms and display it on the search form in the panel below the serch textbox...... how can i do this

Hi anurag  you Need to Write your Own Class for handling Collection of Form to Perform Such a Taks there is no inbuit facility to perform such type of task . However you can List the Forms Which are Currently open in the application By FormCollection fc = Application.OpenForms; and Iterate through all the forms which are Currently Open dont forget to mark  Do you like answer  if answer helped you :) Thank you :)

so i think you definatly need to use MSSQL Catalog capability index by formid. each form will come to the catalog and search any term whatever you put in the catalog and the user typed will be automatically fixed or given a substitute :-)

well i m making around 50 forms in my application so for searching these forms i want to create a search engine in my window application........... i want that if a user has entered any string in textbox it should match the complete string with the text property of the form only not the text which is present on the form and not with the form name. Also it should check for critical errors like More than one spacing .If there is more than one spacing then also it should automatically remove the extra spaces and display the corresponding form. I want the search functionality like in windows Kindly please help me regarding this........

what do you refer to as Search Fuctionality... if you need DB Search use the Full Index Catalogs...
