If you have binded CollectionView Source then you can filter with the Filter event from the CViewSource else if it's a Collection (List  Observable) then you can rely on converting the Source as Ienumerable | Iqueryable then filter or sort the records  and refresh the datagrid. All the process can be done on SelectionItemChanged of the Drop down list. Please kindly UPVote if this helps you. Regards DK

Your requirement seems to be unclear  do you wanna filter the data grid view by (Country state.. ) or Do you want a drop down list selected item => to delegate a filtering in Datagrid.
