hi, try this select * from( SELECT empId, salary, ROW_NUMBER()OVER(PARTITION BY salary ORDER BY salary desc ) as RowNum from ExaminationOptions) A where A.RowNum =n using the above query u can find n number of highest salary. hope this help.
