Select datagridview row

Question

Hi there, Am trying to get an entire row of my datagridview selected, because one of its columns contains a value similar to a value in my textbox1.text. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi Marvin, you can do this in GridViewSelectedIndexChange event. in that you will get the selected row and in that row you can find your column's value and match with textbox. like string txt = (grid1.SelectedRow.FindControl("MyLabel") as Label ).Text;

When you say "get an entire row of my datagridview selected" do you mean you want to make a row selected or do you mean you want to get the data of a row that is selected? If you want to get the data then is the DataGridView bound to something such as a table? If it is bound then it usually would be best to get the bound row.
